ABOUT THE EVENT /
The 4th of July Parade was reintroduced to Findlay by a group of Veterans in 2013 after a long absence in the City. It is our desire to allow the citizens of Findlay & Hancock County to display the Patriotic pride, Flag City and Hancock County is known for.
Joining the Parade is always Free!
Flag City 4th of july parade is a patriotic public event meant to celebrate our Great Country
Parade Committee members reserve the right to refuse entrance to anyone or any organization
Private interest / Political campaign display's are not permitted

All Participants entering the Parade
Must stop at the check in Station (Baldwin & Main)
to check in

Date: July 4th 2024
Start time: 11:00am
Line up: on main starting at 9:00 a.m.
(Military, Veterans Org. First Responder’s VIP’s) Please come early you will be in the lead
Route: Main Street, Baldwin Ave to Center St. (Route may change at the request of the City )
Entry into the Parade is always Free for everyone
All Floats and Displays should have a Patriotic Theme
Active Military, Veterans, and First responders (Police, Fire & EMS) Will lead the Parade
Float Judging Start at 9:30 for all Floats. First Place, Second place & Third Place fourth place
All floats are encouraged to display the our nations Flag
Children’s decorated Bike Judging to follow float judging Five winners will be awarded.

Passing out Candy & Flags is allowed however there is to be no throwing of any items to the public.
All vehicles must be driven by an adult licensed driver
All Participants must check in at the Baldwin check in station.
anyone caught cutting into the Parade will be asked to leave.
